2008/6/29 Faye and Tyler on stage

This year, Faye and Tyler's summer production is Jungle Book and Cinderella. I picked a right show for them. Tyler liked to be Baloo and villager while Faye enjoyed her Cheeky Sister and Magic Pony roles. The performance took place in Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.

Before the show, we took a few photos of their first costumes. They loved the costume very much. On the day they got the costume, it was very hot. Without air conditioning, Tyler put it on and refused to take off until he could not stand the heat any longer.

Besides Tyler and Faye, there were a lot of kids joining the show. Gordon also joined the show. He acted as an elephant and a vulture.

After foxes, Mowglis and elephants, it was Baloos turn.

There are vultures and snakes before Tyler came again as a villager. He had a partner Victoria. The show was wonderful. Victoria and Tyler danced very well. I was surprised to see shy Tyler holding the hands of a girl. The kids in Tyler's group were quite playful. They must have happy times in every rehearsal and on the stage.

Cinderella was a complete different story. Faye was one of the cheeky brothers and sisters. Cheeky brothers and sisters were very lazy and not helpful at all.

Do you know how to clean the window? NO
Do you know how to mop the floor? NO
Do you know how to cook? NO
What do you know to do? SING A CHEEKY SONG

Faye was very serious in singing and making every movement. When she is serious, she does not smile.

Faye could manage to look at the audience stand and find Tin and me. We were overjoyed!

There were birds, mice and fairies before Faye appeared on the stage again. She was a magic pony this time. Unlike me, she had talent in beauty. She wore the magic pony costume excellently. She adjusted the pony head so as to make herself comfortable, but at the same time, we could see clearly her whole face (including the ears).

After all ladies and pretty Cinderella were all on stage, it nearly came to an end. Look at Faye before and after she saw Tyler.

Faye saw Tyler first. She shouted out '哥哥' and Tyler noticed her. They told us that whenever they met at the backstage, they would greet each other. They told us that there were not many siblings joining the show like them. They were quite happy to be one of the sibling pairs.

Were they looking for each other while they were waiting for the curtain to fall?

Here is Gordon. He is in front of Tyler.

After the 'great' show, reward is a necessity. It is very easy to fulfill their wish. The reward this time is to share a bottle of cold Ribena. I seldom give them cold drinks and chocolate. Thus they seldom ask for them. However, after exercising or completing a big task, they know that they will be treated to yummy drinks and snacks.

Tyler and Faye made some models in the arts classes. They were displayed in an exhibition at Harbour City. We found their names while they found their pieces.

Faye's piece is the audience beside the one in green T-shirt. Tyler's piece is a group work. They made a pillar.

What a coincidence! The foot of Faye's piece is on Tyler's name.

On the way to Porpor's home, they played for a while on the bus before they both fell asleep.

2008/6/26 Paper plane

Tyler likes paper folding very much. He folds a lot of paper planes, houses, hats and shirts. Last night, he folded a lot of aeroplanes as usual. Here are some of them.

Some of them are unusual. There are stands and an extra rear wing.

Some of them even bear seats!

Is he very innovative?

2008/6/22 Repulse Bay

After Olympic Day Run, we went to Repulse Bay to have fun. First of all, we walked to the Queen's Road East to catch a bus. On the way, we bought some grapes for tea. Eating fruits is far better than candies.

I hate sunscreen very much. Past experience (over 20 years ago) tells me that it is smelly and not very useful. However, for the sake of my little angels, it is better to apply some. Tyler loves this sunscreen very much. It is because it is a prize for him in the Jessica Run for Women.

Faye is in fact a very lovely girl. Many friends around me tell me that she resembles me. Really? Tin and I do not feel so. No matter she looks like me or not, my love on her will never change.

They ran so well this morning in the Olympic Day Run. An ice-cream treat encourages them to join running in the future.

Many thanks to Ah Yi and Eric since they invited us to go to the beach. They helped us a lot. Ah Yi bought a wonderful tent for sleeping. Because of their kind help, Tin could sleep at the beach for nearly half an hour. Thank you Madam! Thank you Sir!
