2008/7/28 - 8/1 Sports Camp

This was the third time Tyler and Faye joining the ESF sports camp. We went to Ma On Shan in the first two times. It would be very boring to go there again this summer. Therefore, after discussing with them, we decided to go to South Island School. The content was the same. However, the long journey to the school was different. This time, it was very harsh since the Cross Harbout Tunnel traffic was unpredictable. I could not understand how people accepted such unreliable means of going to work! One day, we were stuck somewhere for nearly 20 minutes, with unknown reason while another day, we were stuck for a long time due to a traffic accident.

During the camp, they played different kinds of sports. Of course, they could not pick up any skills in that sport. They only tried the equipment.

I could not take any photo for Faye since she was swimming at the far end of the swimming pool. My camera's zooming power was not good enough. Besides that, I did not know where Faye went every day. Faye could not show me the way to the venue she went the day before. Therefore, I could only see her when she came to the basketball court.

On the second last day, I finally knew where she was. She was in a gymnasium on the ground floor. Due to school repair, it could not be reached on the ground floor area that I accessed every day.

During snack time, the children enjoyed their own packed snack.

Perhaps because of Kung Fu Panda, Faye told me that she liked Kung Fu very much. The ranking was right after swimming, her favourite. I was so surprised to see that Faye was the first one to put up her hand to try holding a wooden plank on which the coach would kick and break.
