It was very cold and windy. But we got up very early heading to Wan Chai Gap Park for the Boxing Day Race. We arrived quite early so that the children could play at the playground for a while.
It was really cold and chilly. When we put the number bibs and chips on, it was so cold that we had to move to somewhere the sun shone on!
We were not in a rush like other races. Thus, we had ample time to take a family photo before running the 5K race.
There was a 500 m steep ramp at the start. No problem! We were full of energy.
Trevor was very eager to overtake.
Faye was running with me with pleasure. After many bad experiences, I began to understand that Faye could not be pushed. She had her own way to enjoy her life. She was very alright to let Trevor lead her.
We talked about school lives. We sang Cantonese operatic songs. We discussed what clothes to make for next big event. Time flied. We were approaching the finish line. Tyler, Trevor and Dad were cheering for us. How wonderful to be the last one to cross the finish line!
