We were very busy during the Easter holidays. One of the excitements was Kiki’s visit. Big Brother and Big Sister-in-laws left Kiki to us after lunchtime. She was feeling not easy at first since she failed to stay overnight at my parents’ home a few days ago.
After her parents left, I changed Kiki’s T-shirt immediately. She dressed like one of the do-re-mi.
Kiki pretended to be a vampire like Faye.
Around 5 pm, they played Thomas the Train.
Faye read Letterland stories to Kiki.
Dinnertime.
Afterwards, Kiki listened to Faye’s Erhu.
Kiki slept in this bed. The safety fence was just added.
Kiki did not cry like last stay at Grannies’ home. However, she did not want to sleep. I told her to leave if she wanted to leave and cry if she wanted to. But I would not keep her company then. Then she did not speak a word except asking for toilet. Of course, there was nothing coming out! I asked Tin to look after her because I wanted to take a shower. He said firmly, ‘你好瞓啦,表哥表姐要瞓啦,姑丈出面做野,你唔好嘈住晒。' Kiki was shocked and then climbed up to her bed and did not make any sound. When I finished my shower, she fell asleep already.
Good morning! Kiki loved bread more than rice. She finished it at normal pace.
Tyler and Trevor went to Jordan Valley with Dad. Kiki kept Faye company to go to school. She walked for 15 minutes to Faye’s school, and then another 15 minutes back my home. We went up the stairs, rested for 20 minutes and then went down the stairs again, 15 minutes to Faye’s school and another 15 minutes back home. I asked Kiki from time to time, ‘Are you tired?’, 'Are you happy to walk with 二姑姐?’ She gave me very encouraging answer every time.
We had lunch together before sending her back to her parents.
At the end, Faye, Kiki and me walked to BM workshop (another 20 minutes walk). She was very nervous there because the place was strange and there were lots of strangers. We met 蘭姨. After a few minutes, we went to meet her Kiki’s parents.
