2008-7-25 Switzerland Day 7 (Toyrus and back to HK)

(left) The last day in Switzerland. Trevor slept with Tyler on the third bed. Although Tyler complained, it was the safest way since this was the only bed contacting the wall. (right)

We were very silly to check in all our bags before buying the Swiss army knife! So, a good excuse not to buy! The BA website was not available for hours, so we went to the airport to check in and drop our bags early that morning. I must wrote again that I could follow the German broadcast and hurry to the right platform for boarding.

DSCF4179-1
There were also lots of Kung Fu Panda advertisement in Switzerland. They were very happy whenever they saw Kung Fu Panda things. Here, they pretended to be the Panda. We were on the way to ToysRus. Trevor was very sensitive to camera.

DSCF4190-1DSCF4188-1DSCF4224-1
S-Bahn was not a good choice of transportation for us since there must be stairs when boarding. Besides, the stations that we used were not all equipped with ramps or lifts.

DSCF4238-1
We walked a long way to ToysRus since we missed the bus stop exit. But this gave us a chance to view the city closer and slower.

DSCF4245-1 DSCF4250-1 DSCF4252-1 DSCF4264-1
Faye was very excited to find a "Mr Cheese" toy! In fact, it is not a cheese. It is a sponge. His name is Sponge Bob. We should watch more TV!

DSCF4287-1 DSCF4301-1
This toysRus was not as big as we expected. Besides, there were not many customers. Therefore, the stay in the shop was not very relaxing. There were many Cars toys that we could not see in Hong Kong. They were very happy, especially Dad. At last, they chose a very big box set of Mack Truck.

DSCF4321-1 DSCF4326-1 DSCF4332-1
This is our last lunch in Switzerland. At first, we did not have much expectation to the food - hot dog and hamburger. But when the food was ready, we were all surprised! They were huge hot dog and hug hamburger! The taste was great too! No wonder it cost around CHF 10 each.

DSCF4334-1 DSCF4337-1 DSCF4338-1
The father of this boy was very eager to let Tyler try their mini-motor bikes. But Tyler did not dare try. We saw a TGV which was about to go on its way to Paris.

DSCF4343-1 DSCF4352-1
We looked for seeds for Sharon. However, no seed was found in this supermarket. Instead, we bought some yummy chocolate and desert.

DSCF4377-1 DSCF4378-1
Only Trevor can finish the cup of chocolate mousse. Tyler and Faye felt that too sweet, so as dad. Nothing in Switzerland was cheap. The books were very expensive. We could not choose any at our last visit.

DSCF4379-1 DSCF4391-1 DSCF4393-1
We were on the way to the security. This ariport was excellent. There was a children playroom. We could kill time happily. Besdies, a staff at th eplayroom will check our schedule and remind us to leave.

DSCF4416-1 DSCF4436-1 DSCF4450-1 DSCF4458-1 DSCF4462-1 DSCF4474-1
Tyler loved this football game very much. He played this several times in Hong Kong before. However at an older age, he enjoyed it more.

DSCF4477-1
This lampshade were like converging mirror. Our sound was amplified at certain position.

DSCF4551-1 DSCF4558-1
This was the sandwich from the aeroplane. They refused to even a bite. Dad brought them to look for hot noodle and sushi. However, nothing was available. Therefore, I insisted to force them eat the sandwich. What they said was 'it is very yummy. I like it the best!'

DSCF4579-1
On the way back to Hong Kong, Faye and Trevor was not able to wait for the dinner while Tyler enjoyed it before falling asleep. Dad was so nice that he let Faye's legs rest on his laps while helping Tyler stretch his legs. I did not do anything for them on the flight leaving Hong Kong.

DSCF4606-1
They slept not bad that night. Trevor loved his food much. But it was potato and egg which he does not eat normally. The kids were very happy on the plane since they were allowed to watch TV as long as they liked, even eating their meals.
Back to Hong Kong, hot and humid, tired and noisy. They opend Mack Truck immediately after dinner. But the happiest guy should be dad. When he see his children play any of his toys happily, he is happier than them. This concludes our switzerland trip. We all miss her a lot!

2008-7-24 Switzerland Day 6 (Heidi Haus)

8:06 a.m. Every day, mom is the first one to wake up.

DSCF3281-1 DSCF3282-1 DSCF3284-1
8:55 a.m. It takes nearly one hour to dress up to go to eat at the restaurant. Dad is making a silly face with his croissant.

DSCF3291-1
10:04 a.m. It takes another one hour to eat the breakfast and pack our bags. We are now on tram no. 14.

DSCF3300-1
10:14 a.m. There is a video taking at Zurich Haubahnhof today.

DSCF3301-1 DSCF3308-1 DSCF3328-1
Dad said that Faye was very pretty in this photo. We have to change another train to Heidi House. The trains runs every hour. We have to wait for a long time.

DSCF3336-1 DSCF3364-1
We do some paper folding on this train. The tour book says that we only need to follow the red signs. However, there are many read signs pointing to different directions. So Dad has to 'feel' the right path.

DSCF3374-1 DSCF3396-1 DSCF3399-1
12:58 p.m. Mom mrumurs a lot since the path is for both cars and pedestrians. It does not look like a good hiking trip :(

DSCF3404-1 DSCF3407-1 DSCF3418-1
1:14 p.m. Much better now. Although there are still cars, coaches, tractors passing by, the beautiful scene make everyone feel cheerful. (middle) There are several tanks on the way. We see some people drinking the water. So we also try.

DSCF3423-1 DSCF3429-1 DSCF3436-1
1:27 p.m. On the way, there are a lot of vineyards. The children are hungry. So we eat the bread and apricots.

DSCF3437-1 DSCF3444-1 DSCF3445-1
1:34 p.m. The path is very steep. Tyler is not allowed to stay on the pushchair. In fact, Tyler walks all the way up to Heidi House.

DSCF3450-1 DSCF3457-1
1:40 p.m. Dad likes this photo very much, which makes me also pay attention to. Tyler's smile resembles mine.

DSCF3459-1 DSCF3461-1 DSCF3472-1
Faye thinks that we are arriving Heili House. Therefore, she runs to the front, wanting to be number one...but she is wrong. It is not as close as she thinks. So she walks again.

DSCF3478-1 DSCF3487-1
1:47 p.m. More and more tourists. We should be quite close. There are 2 paths. Which one leads us to Heidi House?

DSCF3506-1 DSCF3510-1
1:56 p.m. We arrive at the Heili Hotel. We chose the wrong path. Therefore, we have to take the above pushchair-unfriendly footpath.

DSCF3518-1 DSCF3520-1
2:02 p.m. Finally we arrive! We only remember a bit about the story of Heidi. What I remember is that Heidi helped a girl (Clara), who used wheel chair, walked again.

DSCF3548-1 DSCF3549-1 DSCF3555-1 DSCF3559-1
No matter they know the story or not, they like this place very much. I like the first photo from the left below. drm stands in ascending order. There are some goats, chickens, and small animals on the lawn. They are not afraid of human.

DSCF3569-1 DSCF3575-1
'Hello' ... 'Uh-oh!'

DSCF3576-1 DSCF3578-1
2:17 p.m. They dare not touch the goat. Dad touches first. After that, they pat and groom the goat a lot, especially Trevor.

DSCF3581-1 DSCF3605-1 DSCF3615-1 DSCF3667-1 DSCF3674-1
Dad is buying the Heidi House tickets.

DSCF3688-1 DSCF3704-1 DSCF3711-1 DSCF3727-1
This is Heidi House. The "Heidi" is not the one we know. We know the Japanese style Heidi only!

DSCF3732-1 DSCF3736-1 DSCF3748-1 DSCF3750-1
Drm run up and down the slope at first. Mom suggests them to roll down the slope. Without demonstration, ...

DSCF3762-1 DSCF3767-1 DSCF3795-1 DSCF3808-1
... they roll down happily. But Trevor does not know how to roll well. Later Faye likes rolling down in a silly way!

DSCF3821-1 DSCF3863-1 DSCF3875-1 DSCF3883-1 DSCF3905-1 DSCF3953-1 DSCF3955-1
3:34 p.m. This is the Heidi that we know!

DSCF3966-1 DSCF3968-1
Tyler is tired, so mom let him get on the pushchair.
3:49 p.m. This is a helicopter. We watch it landing and passengers getting off. How luxurious!

DSCF3972-1 DSCF3979-1 DSCF3982-1
4:16 p.m. Just like last year in Germany. We run to catch the train, which depars every hour. Dad pushes Tyler and Faye while I carry the sleeping Trevor. Without the sling, it is very difficult to carry a baby to run.

DSCF3994-1
Ther is one more yoghurt bar. Yum yum.

DSCF4001-1 DSCF4024-1 DSCF4054-1
We are not interested in this shop. Dad like the shop next to it - orange. He wants to buy an i-phone. I-phones are all sold out even we visit several shops.

DSCF4088-1
This is the last night. I put them in a bath so that I can focus on packing the bags. They are very happy :)
