Tyler and Faye like Nutella, even not at home! We only use sunscreen today. I am afraid that the reflection by the snow will burn our skin. I find that I am wrong toward the end of the whole trip. It is because our skin, especially those at the feet, is very dark. We should apply suncreen every day!
We have to take 3 different trains. The two ones below are included in the railpass.
But this one cost nearly HKD1000 per adult. Lucily, children under ? are free of charge. So HKD2000 for our whole family. Still very expensive! Faye and I get a bit altitude sickness while Trevor is not happy with cold weather.
This is a glacier. We have an expensive fast food lunch at the highest train station of the world.
Tyler and Trevor both have their afternoon nap after lunch. Dad takes Faye to go outdoor to play with snow. But they forget to put on thicker clothings and thus they come back and join us. We go out together to meet the snow. Trevor refuses to move under cold temperature. Faye feels a bit dizzy and she wants to shut her eyes and sleep. We are too late and all those free rides for children are closed.
What they can do is to pick up snow and throw.
Nothing to do outside, so we eat berries inside.
Faye is still not feeling well. (second) This is one of our very few (around 2-3) family photos in the journey.
After reaching around 1000 km in height, Faye is lively again. There are trails joining the base and the top of the mountain. How desperate I want to hike in the very fresh air!
We see a GoldenPass train at the end of our journey.
