The graduation performance took place at Wei Hing Theatre last Saturday. A few weeks ago, Tyler showed excitement about the show. He was able to sing 'We are ready. 讓每顆心靈呼吸一致......' and mention that he would be a pig in the '動物奧運會'. However, he was indifferent to say anything more.
We were very curious about what that little pig would do...
Little MCs told us that there would be an animal Olympic Games. All animals paraded the stage.
男火神及女火神 told us that the 5 little piggies were the representatives of Hong Kong. They spoke Cantonese. The sport they participating was hula hoops. Tin and I were nervous. We worried that Tyler would embarrass the show as he could not play hula hoops at all. To our surprise, he could play well!
The piggies could not play well at first. They encouraged each other and tried again. They played very well at last.
The next team was little chicks. They came from China so they spoke Putonghua. They lifted weights. Again, they could not do well at first. After some encouragement, they could lift the heavy weights.
The next team came from USA. They were ducks speaking English. They took part in short distance run.
The last team of penguins came from France. They spoke French. They took part in the synchronized swimming.
At last, their teachers came out and took a class photo on the stage.
There were 5 shows performed by 4 classes. Afterward, 3 pairs of students delivered the valedictory in Cantonese, English and Putonghua. I knew three of them. They were Marcus, Janice and Jade. At last, all students sang the Goodbye Song. The classmate beside Tyler did not sit down at right time. Tyler reminded him. Good boy!
Finally, Tyler could see us. We could not read the lips of each other. Thus I used sign language to communicate with him. But the only phrase that we could do was 'I love you'. I gave him lots of love and he gave me lots of love in return.
After the show, we took several photos with his lower classmates. Because there were no birthday gathering this year, we did not know many classmates or parents in Upper 7.
The night before the show, Tyler told me that he would like to have a pack of Vitasoy after the show. He asked me for the Vitasoy immediately when I fetched him from the stage. He was worth and so I gave him immediately. However, he pointed to a sign and said, 'no eating and drinking'. So I kept the drink until he asked me again outdoor.
Tin studied in this University before. Although he did not have much feeling with it, I insisted to take many photos for him. It was only an excuse for me to be the camera lady. Tin had too few photos with drm.
We walked to purple zone since we went there very often when we were young. Now we are older. We have our own sons and daughters. Tyler is our eldest one.
We had a very happy Saturday morning.
