We took Bahn to go back the hotel. That was our last underground journey in Vienna. Goodbye Stadtpark station.
While we got back our luggage, the children were watching TV at the common room. Afterward, we went to take an airbus to the airport.
The facilities of the airport were quite bad. On the day we arrived Vienna, our pushchair was not found. On the day we left, we found no elevator for the trolley. Therefore, Tin and Tyler looked for the elevator while the rest went with me to the check-in desk. Big Sis was able to send some postcards in the last minute.
There was nothing except a small souvenior shop and a very small food court. Tyler and Tin were so happy to spot a magnet of Hundertwasserhaus, which could not be not found at any shops there! My camera was smashed with melted Mozart chocolate ball which was bought at Hundertwasserhaus as well. So they got a magnet while I lost some chocolate!
Tin wanted so much for a cup of coffee. Big Sis was so nice to offer looking after all the kids. When Tin and I walked around the very small food court, both felt guilty of leaving them all behind. Therefore, we asked them to join us at a coffee shop eventually!
Ron and Big Sis were sitting quite far away from us on the plane to London Heathrow. Suddenly, the feeling of the last family Switzerland trip came back.
That was London Heathrow again. We spent most of our time waiting at the queue of the VAT desk. There was a silly traveler who forgot to obtain a chop from the custom before claiming the tax refund at the VAT desk. The VAT staff asked him to get a chop first. The VAT staff did wait for him to come back with a chop!!! Should that be regarded as excellent service or extremely poor service?
The children loved long distant flight a lot. A strong attraction was that they could choose any computer games or movie by themselves.
We arrived Hong Kong the next day. Ron’s dad fetched them at the airport. How delighted Ron was when he was under his dad’s arm.
How about us? Wati was still on her happy vacation. We went to Tokwawan Tak Cheong for one of our favourite Hong Kong food – Chiu Chow Fun Mien.
